Three businesses were robbed or burgled in East Montgomery County this month and property, ranging from energy drinks to vacuum cleaner, was stolen, according to Montgomery County Police.
Commercial robbery:
An employee at Fairland Market, located at 13318 Old Columbia Pike, was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown suspects on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8:15 a.m. The robbers ordered the employee to open the register before punching him. The employee gave them money and they escaped with cash from the business, cash from the employee and the employee’s wallet.
Commercial burglaries:
Green Apple Market was burgled on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 3:11 a.m. The side glass door was broken and energy drinks were stolen.
Two vacuum cleaners and lawn care equipment were stolen from Windsor Towers apartment’s maintenance room sometime between Sunday, Nov. 5 and Tuesday, Nov. 7. The apartment is located at 13920 Castle Boulevard.
